14 years ago, I came to Berlin to study.
Even before completing my Bachelor of Science at HU Berlin (Economics) and my Master of Arts at HWTK Berlin (Business and Organisation), I was already working at IT startups. From e-commerce, fintech, app search engines, IT agencies, blockchain, digital health, to IT education – I’ve tried it all. I always knew that I had to work my way up to truly understand how a company operates.
Initially, I deliberately chose to work with small startups. I wanted to be as close to innovation as possible. After gaining experience and realizing my strengths, I consciously chose to work in scale-ups. That’s how I took the next step.
Blockchain-based funding platform for startups (2016-2020)
I was hired as the first employee when there was no company yet. I built the company alongside the founders. From administrative, financial, and operational projects to product development, investor relations, marketing, HR, ESOP, and the digitalization of IPOs, I led it all. I developed and implemented the processes, led projects, and coordinated horizontal teams.
Digital Health – B2B SaaS platform for short breaks at the workplace (2020 – 2022)
I took over the company from the three founders after 10 years of operation. The goal of the handover was for me to build a team, introduce a company structure, prepare the company for funding, and take the next step for Froach. I built a team of 20 people worldwide. I introduced team processes, prepared a pitch deck, a 5-year plan, and a 5-year budget. We conducted a rebranding, improved sales processes, and developed new products and technology.
AZAV-Certified Education Provider in IT: Web Development, Cloud & DevOps (2023–2025)
As Head of Operations and later COO and authorised signatory of an AZAV-certified education provider in the IT sector, I optimized course delivery—from onboarding, content delivery, support, offboarding, to placement—and focused on enhancing customer success. I was responsible for team building, leadership, quality management, certification, data protection, and IT operations. During a critical transition phase, I led the company from a startup to a scale-up, developed organizational structures and processes for sustainable expansion, and managed a team of over 40 professionals. Additionally, I optimized workflows, improved the customer journey, and initiated internal product developments.
